Asturias: Frixuelos an easy and delicious dessert

Frixuelos, delicious carnival dessert.

There is nothing like good homemade frijoles, simple, easy to make and also very delicious. We personally love them and that is why we want to share the recipe with you all. We hope you encourage them to do them.

Ingredientes.frixuelos- La Casona de Tresgrandas 

    • 100 gr. Of flour.
    • 2 eggs.
    • 250 ml. Of whole milk.
    • 2 tablespoons of anise.
    • 2 tablespoons of white sugar.
    • 1 pinch of salt.

Elaboration.

You do not have to be a good cook, I assure you, mix the ingredients well, a good pan and go!

  1. Beat the eggs well, add the sugar and beat again until they are completely mixed.
  2. Add the anise, milk, salt and beat again.
  3. Add the flour and beat very well until you get a perfect mixture.
  4. Allow to rest 1 hour.

It’s time for the pan.

In a pan to our liking, we stain it with a little oil well distributed (I use a brush for it), and heat it.

  3. Add the flour and beat very well until you get a perfect mixture.
  4. Let stand 1 hour.

It is one of the typical desserts of Asturias, in all its versions, with sugar, chocolate, various fruits … They are enjoyed all year round, but especially in “Antroxu”, which is the Carnival in Asturias, and “Las Comadres”, a party that Women celebrate in style with meetings and the most entertaining meals.
